V reg 1999 renault clio remote unlocking?

Question:
I have a 1999 renault clio grande rn and the other day for an unknown reason the remote unlocking failed and still doesn't work, If you press the central locking button all the locks work so i know its not a motor gone as it only doesn't work with the radio frequency key. Anyone know what could be wrong as i'm afraid i'll forget to lock my car and it'll get stolen? I have changed the battery in the key fob and i've changed the fuse to no avail!

My mum had a similar problem with her Clio- only it affected the entire car- it was something to do with the immobiliser kicking in- apparently they can be affected when parked near one of those phone masts. Quick call to the recovery people and they came and reset it for her. Don't know if this is the same thing, but might help.

Renault Clios often have this problem. I'm a proud owner of one of these specimen and I've had this kind of problem several times. Do you have a leak that sort of collects in the sensor near the sunroof? That could be it. Have it checked out.
