Actually i was thinking of asking the same question. i live in texas and i'm getting ready to go to college. I researched a bit into the PA program at my nearest college ( University of Texas-Pan American) and found that the PA program is only two years not counting your basics. However there are some requirements, you have to have taken some courses and have a certain number of hours, but its probably different in every university/college. I believe the RN program is also two years or you can go four years so I think the PA program works the same way
