A regular x-ray which shows someone's skeleton is one thing, but if it's the kind of x-ray where it shows what they're body looks like underneath, I think that's too much.

They won't do the scan if you don't consent to it. Also, the person who sees the scanned image never sees the person. He/she is in a room in another part of the building.

The technology doesn't actually use X-rays. That would be exceedingly harmful to living tissue. Though I can't be certain, I believe it is based more upon the use of thermal imaging. Night vision cameras incorporating thermal imaging were sold to the public. Someone tried it in broad daylight. The result: undergarments were seen. The technology has been modified so that perverts cannot use it to look under people's clothes. It looks like our government has found another use. It's not the same as what you think, but it is similar.
