Question:
What is a better all around car for the money? Impreza or Lancer? I want something quick and all wheel drive, so if you got something that fits that toss it in.
Answers:
Do you prefer rear, front or all wheel drive and why?
This is like asking which tastes better, Pepsi or Coke. They're both very similar cars. If you just want raw speed, the Evo is slightly faster stock for stock. You can also get more HP out of the stock Evo turbo, and the general opinion is that Evo responds better to basic bolt-on mods.
Sick of all the automobile advertisments mean while the price of cars goes through the roof.?
Keep in mind though, the STi will give you a slightly better interior, and personally I think the car's fit and finish is way ahead of the Evo. Both cars have stiff suspensions, but the STi offers a slightly better ride on uneven roads. The cruise control in the STi is also very helpful on long journeys, and is an option I really wish my Evo had.
Being 61 years old, if I train and acquire my CDL, what are my CDL prospects? thanks.?
jack i admit the cars are better in gas milieage and i admit there performance is GOOD but paling in perfromance to muscle cars is completly off if anything its the other way around if you do yuor research you will see the fastest production cars are ameican the 1968 ss baracuda bieng the fastest at a quarter mile of 10.5 mclaren 11.7 sorry but when you bypass all the emissions standards which these new cars must meet you murder performance to ensure breivty i will stop with i like both cars and would consider getting each and youre right the evo is better but its actually more expensive just look at the sites and macth the msrpsAlmost all professional testers give the edge to the EVO over the STI for better chassis and value (about $4000 less), although I prefer the look of the WRX, except for the newest generation with the new Subaru corporate nose-job, although it materialized better than feared. Actually WRX isn't the same field as EVO, need the STI for fair comparison.
Truckers: What do you think about your career choice?
Looks (more subdued and refined) and value, (as a non-STI WRX is not in the same field), I give to MazdaSpeed 6, but Subaru and Mitsubishi have the mechanical edge because of their experience.
was there ever a hydrogen car?
I don't agree with Diego totally, although I would prefer a hard-used 1970 Challenger or the like to a brand new all-wheel drive, turbo import.
In the real world they are not practical and pale in performance. Also import parts from the Far East are not that pricey, and even if they were you would end up paying allot less often than you would for an "American-made" vehicle (if there even is such a thing today.) And parts for old school muscle are through the roof, you could buy yourself a new turbo for the cost of a genuine Mopar quarter-panel.
