Can someone tell me what its like to take a greyhound?

Question:
tell me about
-buying a ticket
-baggage check
-making a transfer to another bus

Answers:

What is my car ?

I took the Greyhound a couple years ago on a two and a half day trip, and to be completly honest it was like hell. Getting the tickets wasn't hard, but it was the uncomfortable seats, the muggy and nasty air in the bus, the bus stations we stopped at were ridiculous, the people on the bus were very werid and thieves(one guy would steal things from people on the bus or at stops and then try to sell it to others on the bus!!-not kidding) and the fact that they lost my luggage. Then after months of going through the proper channels to try and get things worked out, they gave me a little bit of money that didn't really cover all the things they lost! I was very dissapointed by the service and never plan on riding greyhound again in my life if i can help it. Crap, I lived in Russia and the road traveling buses and the bus system itself there wasn't as bad as the service I recieved from Greyhound! I would not recommend riding Greyhound to you, and would only look to it as a last resort.

What is the BEST radar detector on the market?

i took one a while ago just to keep from driving, other than the fact that they go through every little town on the map,and it takes twice as long to get anywhere on them, the ride wasn't bad,and they do take pretty good care of your luggage also, but i wouldn't do it again,i did it so i could go and drive a car back, and i was glad to get in the car believe me,but over all it wasn't too bad of a trip, good luck,i hope this help,s.

Permit Help?

Buying ticket is a breeze, as long as the line is not long.
Baggage check, no biggy. They just look at what you got. If it's small you can carry it with you, if it's big you got to put it in the side of the bus.
Making a transfer, I don't know because I've never done it before.

Do you think people who FLY-TIP have all the charisma of a urine soaked tramp thats covered in his own sick...

As the others said it's all pretty easy. All except the trip. There long, boring. and not very comfortable. They do not stop at very good places to eat. You never know what kind of person is going to be sharing your seat. Bathrooms on the bus suck. And back to the transfers. You can have a long wait between them also most bus stations are not very nice.
