What's the difference between an Elise and an Exige?

If it’s an automatic try changing the transmission fluid and filter. If you don't have any mechanical problems and you want to get some more performance you could try adding a KNN air filter and intake tube (if they make one for your car). You may need a new catalytic converter. After time they can get clogged and restrict exhaust flow. You can have it tested fairly cheap. You mentioned changing plugs, did you also change wires, cap, and rotor (not brake rotor). Try a new fuel filter also. When I worked in a shop we used to do fuel injection services with a machine that cleaned all the carbon out of the injectors, pistons, valves, etc. We charged $185 for the service. I strongly believe the service will give you more performance and improve your current gas mileage. We always recommended a new fuel filter during the service, so if you have this done don’t change your filter before the service. It has even been said these injection services will restore your catalyst efficiency. I would strongly recommend if you have the service done use a shop that first, does it by machine and not by can and second, find someone familiar with Audi’s. I’ve seen some people that don’t know how to hook the machine up to certain vehicles and they skip a lot of the cleaning process. Good Luck.

About car titles...?

Can you be a little more specific? Is the sound from the motor, transmission, drivetrain? Miles on odometer?

Why are people in the united states so against big rig truck drivers. everything you need to live they bring u

It can be as simple as knocking which can be caused by using the wrong fuel. It looks like you have Texas plates, many places in South Texas have poor fuel quality. You may just be due for a tune up as well.

What is your favorite bus?

I'd start with a diagnostic. Check your local Audi dealer, it'll probably cost you 1-hour of labor time, so whatever their hourly labor rate is ~$85.

Which Car is better?

If it sounds that bad. Law of averages say it not going to be cheap

How old do i have to be to legally drive alone in california?

i own a repair shop, and what you need to do is go through it and do a full tune up on it,change the filters and everything ,its not all that expensive to do,also the plug wires might need replaced on it,id just go over the whole thing and see what all it needed, nothing you do to it ,can hurt it,you can only improve it by up dating it,good luck i hope this help,s.

Did GOD REALLY put a lesson in every day . i try to figure out what he?

Dont just stop at the spark plugs. Make sure there the correct ones, cause European cars need specific parts or else things wont work correctly. Also replace your spark plug wires, and distributor cap and rotor if it has it. Check the air filter and see if its clogged, that will reduce your performace if its clogged. If it is replace it. Change the oil every 3000 miles, that way it can remove all the contamination from regular wear and make your motor last. Do the basic tune-up procedure and it should bring your car to its best performance. Also take it to a shop and have them inspect it to see if there isnt anything else that could cause your low performance.

What luxury sedan has it all but not common?

ford had a problem with carbon building up on the valves, reducing air flow. there was a "throttle body cleaner". you disconnect the air intake hose at the throttle body, spray cleaner in the throttle body, swabbing it out with a baby bottle brush. then you spray the cleaner into the intake with engine running at idle till it dies, leave it set for several minutes, then start it, rev it up to "blow the cobs" out of it. you're set.

Does anybody know about car licences?

i've done this to several engines and it does make a difference.

What is your favorite car and why?

The best thing you could to for your car is to change the oil every 3 months or 3000 miles. I have a 1990 Dodge Colt with 160K miles on it and it still purrs like a kitten and runs smoother than my brother-in-law's 1996 infinity I30. The reason is is that he changes his oil at around 7000 miles!! I was like WTF?? If you've taken care care of it, then i don't knoiw what to say.

How much does a gallon of unleaded gas weigh?

One more suggestion, I know gas is expensive as hell but try running a higher octane. It could be that you stepped down to regular because prices are so high but that's not healthy for your engine.

Has the Scion ever introduce the Xb open deck into U.S??

Good luck and I know how you feel about your car. My mustang gets that same concern and attention that you give yours.

Can anybody tell me if there any site that provide an info about the mechanisem of the cars?

Do a tuneup:
start with a kerosene engine flush. Go out and buy two new oil filters, double the amount of oil an oil change on it requires, and some kerosene. They sell the 'engine flush' in parts stores, but its exactly the same as kerosene, but $10 more expensive.
drain your oil, then fill it with the kerosene. turn your car on for 20 seconds, shut if off, drain the kerosene, change the filter, fill up the engine with oil, run your car for 20 seconds, drain the oil, change the filter and then put more oil in.
the engine flush will stop most of the knocking you hear (not all of it, because parts may be damaged that cause the knock)
Next thing is cleaning the throttle body and iac. You can use kerosene if you have some left, or you can buy some tb cleaner. take off the tb, put some kerosene in a bucket, and swash the tb back and forth... you may need to use an old toothbrush to get all the black off.
Then replace the spark plugs and wires..
change your air filter (or clean it if you have a reusable filter)
run some fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank.
you could also change the cat convertor, but its a pretty expensive part..
And whatever you do, DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE DEALER. I have no idea why people say this. A dealer will cost you twice what any competent private mechanic will charge... and theres absolutley no need to pay $85 to check diagnostic codes! that is absolutely ridiculous, goto autozone, they will do it for FREE.
I sometimes wonder where these people come up with this ****... its almost like they shouldnt be the ones answering automotive questions.
Anyways, thats where you start.

Why the name AMBULANCE written upsidedown.?

**EDIT**
i just looked up the compression ratio for your car (10.3:1), and you should only use PREMIUM FUEL. A compression ratio that high requires a fast burning fuel, regular does not have enough time or space to fully ignite, and if used on a daily basis may cause some serious damage to the cars internals.
