Question:
First group have a small fleet of these spread around the UK, but I just love the ones at First Edinburgh. They seem to have a high rate of availability and they have a distinctive whine, Metrobus like, that can be heard long before you see the bus. I have heard drivers complain that they have poor accleration, but the FED examples seem to travel at a fair rate of knots. I accept that the Alexander PS/Volvo B10m is a better bus, but how does the Merc compare with the other chassis, Scania/Dennis and the Volvo B10BLE and B7.

If you drove your mom's car into a lake, what the hell do you do?
They have a good name for reliability, but are sometimes regarded as heavy on fuel, Arriva and EYMS also have the step entrance version and Travel West Midlands have an enormous batch of the low floor version (O405N2) in both rigid and artic form, these are rather tatty on the inside now, but are still used all day, often on routes which seem to be too narrow and twisty for them.Know idea what you just said but i'm getting a bit turned on by it anyway! xx
