Most will pick you up at your house, no need to drop your car off at all.

If you had an accident with a leased car do you have to report it the leasing company? why?

I rented a car over Thanksgiving to drive out of town. They provided an area for parking. But.since it was a holiday it was very full and they offered to park it on the side street. I happen to have a friend there that drove my car home for me. If you use Enterprise Car Rental they will pick you up at any location and take you to the car rental office. Then when you drop off the car they give you a ride back to where ever you want. For Free. It isn't putting them out, it is part of their gimmick. I have used them every time I have had to rent a car.

I've been looking for a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse..?

Not any i've dealt with because they would have to be liable for it. Get a friend or a taxi to drop you off at the car rental and pick you up when you come back. Untamable is right about Enterprise, but I found them to be more expensive.
