What a load of crap, sorry thinking out loud!
I'm going to London tonight at 11.30pm to start a late shift at work, i wont have to pay the charge for that but i'm not leaving till 8am. Will i have to pay? Will the cameras get me even though im leaving london?
What could be the consequences for me if?

Yep, you will have to pay on the way home too :-( If you can get out of the c zone before 7am you wouldn't have to pay (maybe you could try and get off a bit early and avoid the charge!) If you unable to go all the way by bus or train then park your car at a suitable station outside the zone and travel the rest of the way by train. Most people seem to manage to do this.
