Intake, exhaust, a supercharger will give you the only true noticeable difference. Your talking about an already sport tuned 1.5 liter engine, it's never going to be "fast". I did not buy my 2004 xb for speed, but for interior space and mileage vs/price. I sold it at 14k because it was too slow and bumpy for my highway commute. But I did love it anyway. Just start w/ intake and exhaust. Or get a faster car.
