Take a look at Compustar. I have a system on my Grand Prix GTP and it's very nice. One remote is 1-way and the other is 2-way. The 2-way is cool because it will tell you when the car is locked, running, doors open and also has a timer run for cold weather. It works with your existing system(if you have one) and turbo too. My system was about $500.00 new.

subjective..wat do u want yr car alarm to do? jus siren or some even indicate on yr remote tat certain part of yr car is opened? or siren + send an sms to yr handphone? or siren + send sms + immobiliser? the basic (juz siren) cost juz SGD$50 here in singapore and with immobiliser may cost up to 1k.
