I've never been to England, but from what I have seen on television the asphalt pavement on English streets and highways just looks nicer than the one we usually have here in the U.S, and anywhere else I know. Simply put, the english pavement work looks prettier- It has a black, and not a grey tone, and it looks more plain. How comes is that? Do they elaborate sphalt concrete in a different way?

The reason is that we pay so much bleeding tax. We pay fuel duty and road tax, VAT and income tax, council tax, we even have an inheritance tax.
