there is really no Primary reason. During the elections the republics seemed to LOWER the prices to try to get us to vote for them. Of coarse, everyone is looking for the extra dollar which means the owners of the popular gas companies are gonna make the the money because they can use their power to hike up the prices and use the dumb excuse, "Demand makes the price." If that is true or not, there are many other explanations. The real answer for this must be the greed because i recall the president once saying how Demand is not the problem. I dont really know what it is and i think this is impossible to really answer unless you are the president or something. the oil companies can't keep up with demand which drives up the crude oil price, that and the fact the guys running the companies are making an absolute killing.
Expect much more as long as were in war.

Do you remember what happened around election time, how the gas prices went lower? They went lower to try and make people vote to keep the Republicans in control of congress. Now the Democrats are in control of congress and the current administration wants to punish the American people for not voting how they wanted. Since they can't get the people who didn't vote Republican individually, they're getting everyone. And even if the people would have voted them back in power, it would still happen because once they were in power, they wouldn't need to keep it in power anymore because they got what they wanted.What 4 door midsized car is safe, reliable, and the best value now-a-days?
