Driving into town yesterday, I drove past the council offices and being Saturday, there were literally hundreds of empty car spaces.
Should it be harder to get a license?
Yet, 200 yards down the road, you have to pay to park to go shopping.

As Council tax payers, do we have a right to park in these spaces at weekends when no one from the council is working?

i agree! i'd sign your petition! what a waste of space that could be used more productively..On a similar but different subject, a neighbour recently had a garage and driveway built in their garden but still park both their cars on the pavement outside their house. Not all motorists are unfairly targeted.
