the only way to do it is if you are going to use a sports steering wheel you can buy a boss (adaptor) to make it fit

not quite anything. and as series three's have no power steering (have yet to see one converted...) it is imperative to have a largish diameter steering wheel in order to be able to turn effectively.else you'll look like a hamster desperately running in his wheel getting nowhere lol oh and you'll get and achey arms and shoulders!! best thing to do is visit a land rover breakers and have a fiddle about, the steering wheels come off quite easily and you should be able to see if any are interchangeable, I've attached a link below and they will help you with as much info as you need, Have used them for our series 3 and defenderWhy do people accuse women for reckless driving?
If you really want a smaller wheel - the cheap option is to look at 1970's BL cars (mini, etc) as they use the same splines as the Landy. I use the wheel off my very first car (1972 mini) on my '76 Series 3. I find it easier to drive, despite the extra effort - because I get much more elbow room, and therefore more leverage!Lost door locking remote. How do I get a new one?
