some really older cars made you double clutchmeaning - you had to push the cluth in to take it out of gear
put in neutral - let clutch out - then back in
put shifter into next gear - let clutch out

sometimes when you speed shift you don't actually push clutch in and let it come up you slam it to the floor and let your foot slid off the pedal letting it pop up (engage) on it's out hard on drive componants but it is the fastest possible shift assuming you did get the gear when you shifted.Are there any common problems with a 1995 2wd astro ?
