How hard a job is it to convert a car from LHD to RHD?

Question:
Something elderly, along the lines of an old Jeep or Land Rover. Looking to get this done in the UK; what is involved for the mechanic (in brief, laymans terms!) and what am I looking at, very roughly, as costs (inc labour). Thanks!

1. Change the dashboard to get the
2. Steering wheel/column to the other side. meaning the
3. Steering box needs to change, and
4. the front axle.
5. The linkage for the throttle.
6. Heater to the other side.
7. Brake and clutch pedals and lines should be easy.

I have to agree wiith the other answers. Labour costs alone would be more than the vehicle's worth.
As it seems you havent a specific vehicle in mind why not buy it ready made in RHD??

a lot of work.the pedals need to be moved the brake and clutch master cylinders moved,the steering column moved ,the steering rack replaced the dash replaced,a conversion wiring loom purchased the handbrake lever moved new handbrake cables purchased unless the handbrake is in the middle where it can be left in place.expensive job leave alone unless you relish the challenge
