Get a pro to do the job. Any trailer and tow-bar fitter should be able to. The one I used in Broadstairs only charged £35 ! and that included the socket !

HI The wiring can be done easily if you only want a constant 12v for lighting supply and a split charge circuit for fridge/second battery in the caravan using two lengths of twin core wire(suggest red and black) and a standard 4 pin relay.Both +cable leads need to be fused near to the car battery both - wires need to return to battery - terminal .to energise the relay use the small wire to the alternator(this is the wire one that puts out the charge light on your dash) if you haven't done any wiring or don't feel confident just run the two lengths of twin core front to rear as this is the most labour intensive and ask a local auto electrician to do the final connectionsMore Questions & Answers ...
