A lady approache me today at the Mall where I work, and told me i had hit her car with my door at the mall parking lot three days ago. I know I did not scratch any car, or otherewise I would have not left my car there. She is asking me for money for the damage. What is the right thing for me to do in this case?

She has the burden of proof. Unless she has a witness or you slamming your door into her car causing damage on video tell her to scratch.

Exactly how did she determine it was you/your car? This sounds like one of two things: 1) for whatever reason, she really thinks you did it or 2) she's running a scam to get money. Is there any damage to your car? Did you look at her car? Another option would be to ask mall security if they have a tape of that area of the parking lot on the day/time in question. If you DID NOT have anything to do with damaging her car...you have nothing to worry about. I would tell her that you are very sorry her car was damaged but you did not do it.
