Motorbike Spped restrictors possible - cars next?

Question:
How long will it be before speed restrictors are put in our cars aswell as on bikes?
When are they just going to let us get on with our lives and enforce the current laws properly before bringing out new ones.

Ok my cousin is in love with my girl wat do i do?

I've lost a few mates to the speed bug and what is the point of having the buzz if it's going to kill you...round here it's not that bikes don't accelerate fast enough they just can't stop fast enough when they get to the bends...what would your opinion be if it were your own family that were killed because of speed.it must cost the insurers, police and nhs millions clearing up paying out and treating the idiots who have no real road sense...so i just think if that's how you wish to die then go for it

Any unknown days in car history?

Speed does not kill, the poor application of speed does. Idiots will kill themselves just as easily at 60 as at 200 mph, so its yet another vote gathering ploy.

Which would you buy, for a young college male? Toyota Yaris, Hundai Accent or the CHevy Aveo? Hatchback ?

there's a speed restricter on my ford mustang. it kicks in at 120 mph. not that I would ever ever drive 120 or anything. oops, my nose is growing!
honestly, it pissed me off.
It might be a California state regulation, but I'm not sure.

Is a convertable any less safe than a hard top?

Many vehicles already have speed governers. My '94 Grand Am was at 105 mph.

Bubble Balancer can you help me please!!?

its nutters on bikes that spoil it for the rest of us. it was a nutter on a bike in the first place that got us speed limits on the motorways. yes, put speed limiters on bikes. maybe a revision of the speed limits wouldnt go amiss either, the stopping distances used on the highway code are based on something like a 1960s ford anglia with drum brakes and cross ply tyres, modern cars are much safer, the speed limits need to be adjusted accordingly i think, then maybe a limiter would be acceptable. maybe.

Where is drifting, hillclimbs friday nights on gold coast? tks?

What so you are putting aside innocent people who get killed and injured by speeding motorcyclist, pedestrians and other drivers? People should stick by the speed limits. I am sick of speed freaks and plastic race drivers putting innocent lives at risk let alone the joy riders. If they cannot use a vehical how it is mean't to be used then they should have restrictors put on their vehicals. If they want to act like children they should be treated like children.

What constitutes a "bad driver" to you? what annoys you most on the road?

Unless you're actually overtaking something, why should you be allowed to go faster than the speed limit? Plan ahead and allow time for delays. Either that or instead of a speed restrictor, a buzzer to let you know when you are speeding.

List four safety precautions one must be aware of when jacking up a car and removing and replacing the wheel?

Think how many accidents and fatalities could be prevented, many drivers go too fast and think that is acceptable. And people complain that the police are wasting time when they are caught speeding. Just think of how many joyriders could be more easily be caught if only police cars could go over 100mph.

Maserati Quattroporte vs. Benz S Class??

It's been 8 Years since I passed my test, no accidents, no points on my licence and no speeding fines.

Whats your favorite car?

Edit.
If people could be trusted to follow the rules of the road (Highway Code not boy racer or I own the road), there would be no need to enforce the laws or suggest the imposition of devices to prevent speeding. Far too often I see bad driving as the standard, little use of indicators, inappropriate speed, even people on mobile phones, hazard warning lights being used as an excuse to park illegally.

What is the different between a f-type coupler and a double shelf coupler on rail road cars?

I hope they do it too cars is well, I mean what's the point of being able to go over 100mph if you are not allowed it doesn't make sense.
