Quentin Willson has been on TV complaining that supermarkets get their petrol from suppliers who are not much good. He has been saying this long before the recent (UK) petrol contamination incident. How many of you will now get your petrol in places other than supermarkets?

Why is the word 'Ambulance' spelled backwards on the vehicles?
I have not used them since a colleagues records showed he got 3mpg more using oil company sites. I have found the same and the car runs better. At 8P a mile to fuel a small car this is quite significant. I also borrowed my wife's car and she asked me what I had done to it, because it had never run so well. She had been using supermarket petrol. Yes the bulk fuel all comes from the same depot, But company additive packages are added when the road tankers are loaded.Information to get my CDL class A?

Sainsburys i use cheap and never had probs, and i will continue to go there.
dont listen to that guy. i can tell u that supermarkets get their petrol from the same suppliers as bp. infact tesco have delivered to a bp garage. supermarkets wont sell cheap crap, fact, it would damage their reputation if they did that. infact thats prob why he has said that, to affect bp sales.
How much approx would it cost to fill the full gas tank in an STI with premium gas in Illinois?
Will stick to supermarkets. So far havent had any problems. It's clear that some engines don't mind supermarket fuel, while others do. My car definitely doesn't like Sainsbury's diesel, and herself's car doesn't like their petrol - we've proved that by lengthy & complicated comparisons.
I live in CA, when am i going to be able to get my learners permit?
A Toyota Master Tech buddy of mine agrees, one of the first things they ask when someone comes to them complaining about engine roughness or performance problems is "Where do you get your fuel?"

The fuel does indeed come from the same depots, but various additives are then inserted according to company requirements, hence the differences.
