You could always go to howstuffworks.com. that would be a good starting point. You could learn everthing from how internal combustion engines work to how turbos create power.

there's not any real good ones that cover all of it,the best way to learn this is from a good hot rod magazine,they not only tell you how to build engines and what to put in them but also how to tune and maintain them also,you can learn a lot from a few good books,good luck i hope this help,s.
