Say I got my windows rolled down all way while doing 55mph with my A/C shut off. How does the gushing wind affect my miles per gallon?

I have a 92 dodge w/ a 318, think i can get it to burn out? How?
I believe this was on mythbusters--i think... they proved that over 60 MPH its more economical to run the A/C than to have all 4 windows down...below 60 and the windows were more efficient. I like having my windows down anyway.Has there ever been a magentic car idea in history?
Not enough to get excited over.Depending on your car's make and model, driving with the windows rolled down instead of running the air conditioning may cause increased drag, and therefore be less efficient than running the air conditioning with the windows up.

What does toe and chamber in a car suspension system means?
i own a shop, and it creates a drag on the car the air entering the car would be going over it or around it if the windows was up,so this creates a slight drag on it,same thing with the tail gate up on a truck it also creates a drag,i never drive with mine up unless i haul something, but having a window down will affect the gas mileage on any vehicle, good luck i hope this helps. Will a car roof roof hold 140-160 pounds?
Driving with the Windows down at high speeds cause more drag on the car.The more resistance the car has the less gas mileage it gets. However, the difference in miles per gallon is not great.Whats better a 07' Honda Civiv coupe or Mazda6 5 door?
