Question:
I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier, and recently decided i want to make some modifications to it. is there a general rule for a starting point? how much should i be willing to spend for rims, tires, body kit, and a new paint job?
Answers:
Which automobile was the first to have rubber tires?
for rims depends on size for 17 like $ 900 dollars with tires, for 18" like 1000-1100$ and that way. body kits depends alot on how u want it to look like... i got a 96 mirage with the evo 3 body kit, it cost me $500 dollars i put it myself... and paint jobs depend on where u get it done... i just leave it with its basic paint but when it chips i just take it to my dads garage and like for $200 i can get both bumpers done and stuff like that, but for a full paint, it depends on the color... but for basic like $1500- 2000Which fuel is more effiecient ethanol or oil?
Well unless you are just going for the looks only the most important enhancement to make to a car is to get high performance tires. After that a cold-air intake, then exhaust, then ECU/high performance spark plugs/wires.Then move on to suspension, brakes, and engine internals.
Shocks, rotors, calipers, pads, crankshafts, pistons, rods, turbo/supercharger...
Can you make a gas powerd scooter go faster?
Personally I dont understand the people who "pimp' the outside of the car to look like a ridiculous wannabe street racer, but still have the stock engine. I'd rather have a dented rusted car that does <5.0 0-60 and gets 20+ MPG than some car that looks like a race car but leaks oil like a sob.
