No. I believe in the old saying: "You get what you pay for." Tire prices do vary, but quality of tires seems to be consistant with brand names.I believe the top echelon are Goodyear, Michelin, Firestone in that order. Second tier are Cooper, General, Dunlop and Japanese brands.
