Hey check this out you can not reduce the mileage unless you change out the speed-o-meter and if you do this you must get the current mileage and they will make the difference on a state stamped sticker mounted on the drivers door jamb of the drivers door stating that the speed-o-meter has been replaced and the mileage that it is supposed to be at. you cant lower it. cars with a lot of miles are just more worn out, and more likely to break. better to get and old school not so hot car with less miles so you can afford gas instead of having to alwasy get something fixed on it.
