Why haven't the car companies come out with a hybrid Mini-van?

Question:
I am not sure if the demand is still high for all the current hybrid models but I'd love to see a mini-van among the ranks very soon! Does anyone know if it is on the way?

Because the price tag would be insane. Hybrids are way over priced. If you are thinking Hybrid for the economy, keep in mind you will NEVER make up the difference in fuel costs. The Fuel cell (battery) has an average life of 40,000 miles before replacement. Once it goes out plan on 4 - 7 thousand dollars to replace.
Will you ever save that much in gas? Not unless it hits $10 a gallon.

The demand is still very high, but has somewhat abated due
to Toyota having increased the production of the Prius, still
the most popular of the hybrids out there.

What do you think is the hottest car at the moment.?

I am unaware of any thing in the mini-van category, but
I do know that lots of companies (including Toyota) are getting
into the hybrid SUV market.
