I passed my test do i need to display the L?
the best way to attach fiberglass to mettal is by using rivets once you have all the pannels riveted on grind the surface of the frberglass that meets the metal and also grind the mettal area that meets the fiberglass then take fiberglass matt cut and so it will cover the seam two inches on both the mettal and the fiberglass mix fiberglass resin in a bowl take a paint brush and saturate the area to be molded together(fib-mettal) then place the matt you cut on the area and saturate it let dry untill rock hard.e-mail meI'm trying to get the static noise out of my c.b. radio that's in my house ?
Neither is weldable. You prep the metal and the fiberglass or carbon fibre resin adhears to the metal when cured. If you don't know what you are doing, then you will end up with a mess. So, ask for help or instruction on doing the job. What's the best light-duty pickup on the market?
Better leave that to someone else. You have to sand the metal to the shiny stuff. rough then you have to attach it HOT and then you still need to fix it with rivets or bolts as the metal and Fiberglas flex differently and will crack. Are you repairing a hole or something. I would go to the Library and read up on fiberglass working. You can fix it mechanically (screws or rivets), or bond it (adhesive). you cant weld it and if you try you will have a burnt out car on your hands!
Can anyone suggest a car video navigation unit/software? GPS?
NOT "Weldable" with an electric welder. It can be repaired with Epoxy and/ or Resins (which technically welds the materials together)
Carbon fiber "can carry" an electrical current!!
The driver side window doesn't work.?
Neither are weldable as far as using a gas or electric welder. Both can be attached by adhesives that are available just for this purpose. Is a name & cell phone number sufficient info for a hit and run?
