I'd say a car should last at least 150,000 milesWhy , after move from florida to ohio i need to do again the test for my driver licence.?
-or, on average, - 10 years.
You mean before it starts expenisive repairs over $500 about 200 000 kms. All cars can be overhauled and will always work. I would say 15 years is enough before rust gets bad.
15 years
Why are diesel engines so much more expensive than gasoline engines?
Most cars you can get a good 7 to 10 years out of them. However in my family we drive cars into the ground. Until I purchased my own car 2 years ago I was driving a 78 MG and a 82 Toyota. Each car is different. You can get hundreds of thousands of miles out of some and much less out of others. The trick is to always take care of oils and tires and the radiator. You will get much more out of your car. They are like us they need to be taken care of.

Like anything, how you take care of "it" will determine, how long "it" will last.
You can apply that formula to EVERYTHING in your life.
What computer program do junk yards use to figure the compatability of different vehicle parts?
Depends on how you use and drive it, if cared and maintained, I'd say 25 + years, maybe more... my truck is pushing 20 years and still running great! has 104,658 miles, my grandfather bought it new from the dealer in 1987 and i now own it... no smoke, no rust, no noises, no major work ever needed- "yet". all original. Chevy Silverado 1500 long bed, reg cab 305 Carb 5.0 V8! love itHow to get my truck out of the yard?
Even once an car needs "work", it may be less expensive to fix, and it would continue to run for years more.
Best wishes!

Depends on how well you take care of it. If you neglect it it could go out quicker. I have a 1970 Malibu Classic and it's in near perfect condition b/c it's always been babied. It's almost 37 years old and the only thing it really needs is a water pump (which I bought), a new paint job and upholstry repair. But I've had a 1999 that we bought from a used car lot and it was a POS. The question was, when did it run? lol, No joke, it would've done good to run once a month.Vauxhall corsa power steering problem?
It depends on what u do to it & how much care you take. If something goes wrong do you fix it on payday or try to drive months till it almost falls apart then sell it real quick? I have a 95 cavalier (5-SP) with 160,000 miles, 88 caddy brougham with 145,000 & once had an 1988 Olds 98 with 332,000+ miles. Although the later cost about $300 monthly in repair bills to keep running. So my best estimate is to get rid of something once it gets around 200,000. Its entirely up to you.I mailed a letter but forgot to put a stamp on it?
Mine has been in service for the last 16 years and still good...my children will inherit it.What about the Tesla Roadster?
I drive a 1956 Buick every day of the week that while nowhere near original is nowhere near worn out and gets better gas mileage than my aunt's 2006 Honda. My brother drives a 1932 Chev 3 or 4 days a week that has been in the family since 1938 and as far as anyone knows the only "major" repair was a clutch that I ruined as a 15 year old learning to drive. It has been painted several times, and the front set upholstery has been replaced at least twice, but the car is far from worn out.well you ask howmany year you can drive a car, well some i know got car, that they still driveing, anown the 20 rears are longer, but i belve you want to know be fore they start giveing to much trouble,,, it depean, on the driver of the car, how you treat it, ,how many mile you put on it, but with good care, somes has went 7 years, with no trouble,
I want to know that how much fine for my car due to radar my car number is rak53156?
Garaging, maintenance, climate, type of use are the main factors. The '76 Toyota I bought in '79 is still on the road. My present car just turned 24. In a warm dry climate a car that is driven mostly on the highway, garaged when not in use, washed carefully but not too frequently and serviced regularly can be expected to last much longer than one driven on salted roads, is frequently wet from rain, driven only short distances, parked outside and rarely serviced.More Questions & Answers ...
