Question:
Say I am shipping it from NY to the UAE. Anyone know of an average cost or a good estimate? Anything would help.
Answers:
What was your 1st car?
Shipping cars out of the U.S. can be very costly if you don't use a company that is well-versed in the process. The car needs to be properly braced in the container and depending on the vehicle, it might need to be in a container alone, which will affect the pricing. Estimate about $1000.00 for the loading/bracing, plus the Customs expenses to declare the exportation legally with the Export Adm., and approximately $2000 - $4000 for shipping to UAE. Just an estimate. A good freight forwarder should be able provide more specifics and pricing based on your needs.
