Then one day I drove it for about 2 hours on a long road with no traffic. I went uphill, downhill, slower speeds, faster speeds, etc, and I've never had a problem since!

My first car was a manual. I found the biggest hill I could find, sat in the middle of it and kept trying to pull out until I got it right. It took a day or so. It is not the easiest thing for the clutch to take. I live in PA and there are a lot of hills. If you live somewhere flat you may not have the problems I did. It never fails if you are stopped on a steep hill someone will pull up 2 inches from you rear bumper. although if it is a sports car there is nothing like a stick shift.More Questions & Answers ...
