I've got a wrong ticket for parking. I am going to appaly it to court. it seems that cops in NY likes to give a tickets to people from other states. What will happen if I will not pay the ticket. How much will be penaltis , and when they will come out. Will they send me bill or what?
I am not guilti, becase the other cop that saw my tickes sad that this is wrong, but how can I prove it. I am pissed off.

You should go to court and contest it, just follow the directions given on the ticket for contesting it. I hate this kind of stuff too, but the red tape involved in getting this taken care of will easily cost you more time and stress than the ticket is worth.It would probablt be better to pay it off, and get it behind you. You can go to court and try to fight it.......you might win and you might not.Now if you are saying you are just gonna ignore it and dont pay it or go to court to fight it or anything then you are setting yourself up to get arrested. The first time a cop asks you for ID for anything theyve got you and will take you in.
Myself i would just pay it regardless. Even if you are in the right - to go to court and fight a ticket isnt worth the hassle. You will probably have to miss work or school - and then you still might end up losing and having to pay. Its just not worth it.
Unless you can come up with some good hard proof that you are not guilty just go ahead and pay the thing.

You should know you are risking a warrant for your arrest if you you don't show up for court. Appeal it correctly, don't miss any court dates or you'll wind up in some deep stuff you don't want in!! I think you should pay the parking ticket and avoid the aggravation, it can't be that expensive. You may hate to on principle, but it will be worth it to avoid the headache!!
