Does any one know a good car mot station in the st Andrews/Dundee area? by this i mean hassle free!!?

Just do the math, not counting the tenths of miles. It's 411 miles, that's how many miles you have put on the car. As far as passing inspection if you drove a certain amount of miles, I don't think they meant for you to drive 411 miles, they likely meant, you should drive the car for 10 miles to warm it up good, then go to the emission testing station. Good luck.

Are the cars for real on Pimp My Ride?

Just subtract the starting figure from the ending figure. Since I'm pretty sure you've not allowed for tenths of a mile (you didn't put in the decimal point), and I would imagine that the car doesn't really have a million miles on it, the figure is 411.1 miles.

The first six numbers are white on a black background. The seventh is black on a white background and shows tenths of a mile. You've driven 41 and 1/10th miles.
