Question:
I want step by step directions. I have seen sites that describe it, but not detailed enough. I do plan on using this in my vehicle, so it does not need to be as pure for kitchen use. I have used corn oil before, so please do not tell me not to do it. I am looking for directions, not your opinion on how I am going to treat my truck. I did get oil from resturaunts for awhile, but I live in a small town with very few resturaunts. All of the places I was obtaining the oil found new people to buy the oil rather than me getting it free. Not only that, but some left the oil out in the rain. I also need it a litttle cleaner because I am planning on using it for engine oil now. I was using it for deisel. Thank you

you also need to control the press temp when pressing the corn as the oil will burn ,this is your second problem, how do you plan on the corn oil surviving the internal engine temps and providing any protection as an engine oilyou need to compare the flash point of engine oil and corn oil
flash point
corn oil 212 to 300 f
motor oil 350 to 510 f
viscosity
corn oil 72cp
engine oil 100 to 540 cp

Corn oil is created by drying the corn and extracting the kernals and pressing them. About half of the kernal is oil and half waste products. To do this yourself you would have to devise a press to extract the oil and a separator to get rid of the waste.
You can't just use corn oil (or any other vegetable oil) on a diesel engine without some expensive and complicated changes to the vehicle because of the weight and flash point of the oil compared to diesel.
Have purchased headlights in america to use in spain is this ok or is there a difference?
You would need both a lift pump to give it enough pressure, and a preheater to take it up to over 80 degrees F before it would even think about working.
