Sure, you can put any gas in it, just will not have top performance. Kinda like renting an expensive home and not having enough money left over to furnish it.Does the brand of oil really matter for a car?
No, it just wouldn't run as smooth. Put in the Premium for a nice *** car. Nice car man.How long does a D.O.T. physical take, and what all do they do to a person?
Look in the book that come from the manufacturer and use at least what they tell you or higher. Most of those engine require the mid-grade or higher.Does taxi take credit card or check?
in the long run it will. I think the leaser would appreciate it if follow the owners manual recommendation. It will not hurt the engine but it might make it run kinda sluggish. check the owners manual and it will give you a octane rating that should be ran in the car, this is what it was designed to run on. it will not make a difference if you put a higher octane in it you will just be wasting your money.
The bus is always better than the plane, wouldn't you agree?
Nope, won't hurt it at all. Modern cars are equipped with a knock sensor that will automatically, and quickly (in the order of 10ms or less), retard timing to combat detonation. The down side is that it costs you performance. A general 'first step' in retarding timing is only 2-3 degrees, but a rule of thumb is 1-2hp per degree. Most can retard up to around 20 or more degrees, making for a very noticable drop in performance. How many gallons does a carwash use for one vehicle?
The only way it will cause engine damage is if your knock sensor is bad. Yes it can happen, but it's somewhat rare.
What is the make and model of the yellow convertible driven by Lucy in the movie 50 First Dates?
Yes it can... The octane rating of fuel directly determines the speed of the "flame front" in the cylinder when the spark plug fires. The higher the octane the slower the fuel will burn. If regular gas is burned the mixture explodes and expands quickly, often before the piston reaches the top of the cylinder. This causes knocking or pinging which can damage the engine. Is there info on the internet regarding curb weights & gross vehicle weights of passenger cars?
Use the grade reccomended by the manufacturer. By the way, putting premium gas in a car designed for regular will not give you more power, it will often give you less - but it won't hurt the engine.
