How much gas does a car/truck use on idle ?

Question:
I'm just curious. If I know the MPG of my vehicle, how do I find out how much gas it will burn at idle. Like if I let it warm up for 15 minutes.. Compared to 30. Thanks in advance to all that respond.

Hardly any if you car/truck is in good condition. Unlike my car with it's many issues, you can watch the gas tank drop a quarter of a tank. My car has a problem with the radiation system(mostly the water pump). When warming up your car, a good five to ten minutes is good(Give or take five minutes due to weather). Anything over fifteen and I'll be here to answer about overheating!
