Question:
I was in a car accident, and i rear ended someone and totaled my car. I wasn't given a ticket at the scene of the accident, and on the police report it says "no ticket has been given at this time." and the case is closed. no one was hurt.
does this mean I can still get a ticket

Technically, you can still get a ticket. Your state probably has a statute of limitations on this type of case, so if you are not ticketed within that limitations period (often a year for this type of case), then you probably will not ever get a ticket. Also, if the officer had the opportunity to ticket you, but chose not to, there is a very good chance you won't get one. It really depends on the local jurisdiction and their procedures. In my state, they would actually have to personally hand you the ticket. You would not get it in the mail. However, each state is different. What are the legal dimentions for an american rv in the uk?
...don't you have to go to court?dude your gonna get it good one way or another, and it may all come to you through the mail
