How did I do a 360 with my car??

I'm dating myself, but there is more than one test on the written part. You have 1) air brakes 2) hazmat 3) truck general info 4) tankers 5) doubles and triples, and I think one more and can't remember it. There are books that you can read, like the ones for a car. Once you pass the written test, you can practice with a licensed person. For the road test, there are several things that you must do. First, you'll have to perform a pre-trip inspection. Covering testing the air brakes, and then performing a safety check on the entire truck from the front bumper to the rear bumper on one side of the truck. Once you are done with that, you have to do some maneuvers. Straight line backing, parallel parking, backing into a loading zone, and the serpentine backing. Once you pass that, then there is the actual on the road test. If you break any laws, you fail. If you go over a curb with the rear tires, you fail, violate any law, you fail, go through a yellow light, and it turns red, if the inspector can see the red, you fail. I took the course with the Pittsburgh Diesel Institute, but any vo tech has a training program. Good luck.
