Truck Driving Long Haul with Baby?

Question:
My partner drives for a trucking company and is allowed passengers However, I am wondering what I would need to take with to accomodate my 4 month old son. Any special carseat? Or is the one he has now good enough? Also, what's it like in the cab? Please, looking for answers from truckers or the significant others and family members of such. Thanks!

You may want to check with the DOT to make sure it's legal. If it's not and u get caught, your husband could receive a huge fine.

I would not recommend taking a baby long haul. From all my years spent in a truck, I can honestly say they are no place for a baby or toddler. I doubt that you could even attach the babyseat to the passenger seat anyways.
