Question:
My daughter just bought a 1998 Toyota Avalon (6cyl auto) with 180K miles. It's a very clean car and runs very well. She is moving 1,200 miles away and wants to tow a U-Haul trailer to take furniture and stuff with her. We could not find the towing capacity for the '98 but Toyota says the new Avalons have a towing capacity of 1,000 lbs. We think that since the vehicle has so many miles, she may be risking damaging the transmission or motor in the process (even if she sticks to the 1,000 lb limit for the trailer and cargo).
What happened to all those electric cars back in the 90's? Why aren't they available now?
Anyone have any advice?
What is meant by an engine being 1.6 litre or 1.8 litre?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Can anyone help me with instructions on changing struts on a 1991 mercury sable?
