Where I live propane is $2.80 a gallon. Gas is $2.40 a gallon. Propane cars get fewer miles per gallon and make less power take longer to refuel and it is harder to find propane filling stations. Why bother. How do i carm 2 people argung over 1 parking space?
Propane burns cleaner as well, giving you better fuel to power efficiencyI want to ship my car from Miami to Houston , dose any one know a good auto shipper with low price ?
Propane will burn cleaner, thus Lower emissions and fewer oil changes. But there is less energy in the propane by weight, so there is a net loss of power (about 10-15%), and if you travel out of town, it is harder to locate re-fueling stops along the road. You must plan ahead.
The inconvenience is the primary reason there aren't more propane and CNG fueled vehicles.

Out of curiousity... what it Driver's Ed like anywhere outside the US?
Not very often. It does burn cleaner, which is why you'll see a lot of fork lifts running propane. Whether it's cost effective depends on the pricing where you live - it's usually not cost effective in the United States, but in Australia or Europe it can be another matter. In the 80's they had conversion kits for Chevy trucks. I don't know about any others. But you had to carry around a 100 gallon tank. That was when propane was like half the price of gas now it is more expensive.
