Which is faster? The Acura RSX Type-S (04 and up) or a Volkswagon Golf GTI (03 and up)?

Exactly as the question states, I need to know certain comparisons between both cars. I know the Golf comes with a turbo compressor, but I plan to add manyspecs/mods to my car. I am also curious as to which performs better and which is safer. If you know any statistics on these cars such as horse power, torque, or anything else let me know please. THANK YOU!
