Will my truck be damaged if i park it on an upgrade every day?
Gasoline (petrol) engines have spark plugs, which fire every fourth cycle of the piston (unless it's a two stroke, in which case it's every second cycle)..Diesel engines use compression ignition and have glow plugs just to help start the engine. Once it's running, the heat of the compression fires the explosive diesel (similar to kerosene - in fact most diesels run ok on kerosene/paraffin)/air mixture.

deisel uses a injector ,the injector forces the deisel into the chamber as a fine mist ,we the air inside the chamber becomes compressed it heats up deisel will only combust if it is heated, therefore the deisel engine is compressed ignition
