Actually the people with their heads in the sand aren't car drivers. The motor industry has done more work in the past five years to make cleaner engines, lower emisions and cars that can be recycled once they reach the end of their life than any other industry on the planet.If you could own ANY vehicle available today? Which would it be?
If you want to talk about "anti-environment" what about carrier bags? Every carrier bag we have in this country pollutes the world in its manufactur, it is then shipped from China on tankers, spreading their diesel fumes across the world and when it's recycled it is shipped back to China (more diesel fumes) only to come back here once recycled (more diesel fumes).

The programme has definitely lost its way, feels as though the producer of the X factor is running this show on the side. Shame really because when "Top Gear" was about cars it was good entertainment.Now it appears to concentrate on being a comedy, you cannot disagree they are a group of comedians.
So if it's not crushing a caravan, launching a Robin reliant car into space it is racing tractors. Really Top Gear, I think not.
