Question:
I got slapped with a ticket for £60, whilst visiting my GP, on patients car park, but not being in a designated space (car park full). I don't know whether I dreamt it or not, but, I think I heard on some TV programme, that if the ticket has incorrect details on it, about your car, ie - stating it as silver when its obviously blue. Does this invalidate the fine?
Answers:
Could I get this covered under warranty?
Sorry to disappoint you, but if the car reg is correct, you don't really stand a chance. If you appeal, you'll probably get a letter saying that the colour is just an additional information. Is it possible to rent like an old fashioned car from a dealership for prom?

Is the minimum age for driving a standard car in the UK changing to 18 years old on 1st Jan 2008 ?
The Fine is invalid for sure, but some poor bugger will be getting letters through their door.
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called "rush hour?
If its got the correct Reg on the ticket, then you will have to pay. Sorry. As long as the reg is correct it's legitimate. Why do people like you think rules don't apply to you, and that just because a car park is full, you can park in an illigal spot?? People are so lazy when they can't just drive down the road, park and walk a few yards.....
Is there a cheaper option than a "man with a van" delivery?
It may depend upon where you live. For example London has different rules to the rest of England and Scotland, Wales also have different rules.I thought the same when I received one which was actually illegible; there was no clear writing on it due to a sudden cloud burst. The simpleton had'nt even put it in a plastic bag, nor had the idiot seen the disabled badge in the car. Did I get off, did I eck.
Can I take the seats out of my 2002 Honda Civic w/out triggering Air Bags or anything?
When they type your reg into the computer all your information will come up on the car. They also take photos of the car.
You can ask for them to send you a photograph.
But you need to be honest was you in the wrong?
if the answer is yes then pay the fine.
It depends... If the judge (or his wife) has a bad case of PMS, you get screwed no matter what. On the other hand, if the judge got lucky, you may win the case. I'm sure the [il]leagal system in UK is the same circus as it is in the US...
