My speedometer stops working after driving about 15 miles?

Question:
i think it's my speed sensor. if this is the problem, is this something that's easy to replace?

Answers:

Do you think any of the big three auto makers "Ford/ GM/ Chrysler" will merge?

Have the cable replaced on the speedo. It's most probably worn out or rusted inside - possibly some water got into the plastic covering of the cable. A new cable will sort out the problem.

4 wheel drive/All wheel drive?

If it is a new car take it back to the dealer

Why a drivers license so hard to get in new york?

might be the sensor that gone bad the only way to find out is by hooking it up to the computer. it can also be the cable that's gone bad
