I went into the shop for no more than 5 minutes. and got a £60 fine. OK so I done wrong. what I would like to know is did I get value for money. (ie) I got to pay £60 for 5 minutes parking. should I have left the car there all day so that I at least got my moneys worth.if so should not the issuing council provide me with a lift home and back so that I did get my moneys worth. after all everyone is entitled to value for money arnt they.

The fine is not payment for parking. The fine is the penalty for breaking the law. It's to discourage people from doing what you did, not to give them "value for cash." Grow up and do the right thing and you won't have to worry about it.

are poor you you should of stayed at home ,no don't leave it there all day it might get broken into an then its going to cost you more,or it might get robbed.you should not have parked there.but you should have left the car there to get your moneys worth...but then maybe it would have gotten towed away.
