Ok, so I have this 1996 Infiniti and its in good shape on the outside...?

Question:
But I recently was having problems with the ignition..before I got the car a new engine was put in, and I recently put in a new battery and got the ignition fixed...so there should be no other problems right..Basically what Im asking is if you put all new parts in a old car will it work just as well?

I need to rent a car, what should I do? HELP ME PLEASE!?

My personal opinion, Japanese have a pretty reliable car but usually when they get older there are a lot of electrical problems, sensors etc. In response if the work was done by factory trained or extremely reliable mech which actually found the problem you may be alright
