You will ruin your fuel pump. Costly repair, have to remove the fuel tank. Anytime you run fuel below a 1/4 tank, you are straining your fuel pump and one day your car will develop starting problems. It ain't worth it.If you were at a relay..like relay for life..what would you buy there..?

If you want to know the exact amount of miles you have left when the gas light comes on then theres a simple thing you can do to find out.What you should do, is fill up a jug of gasoline, about 2 gallons or so and put it in your car. The next time your gas light comes on reset your trip meter. Then you can drive your car till it runs out of gas, still have gas to make it to a gas station, and know the exact distance you can go from when your gas light comes on.
