1.How old were you when you started driving?

I am 15 almost 16 and I desperately need to learn how to drive. With all my after school activities my parents can't take me and it is so hard to track down a ride. Do you have any suggestions or advice?

Will after market cold air intakes damage your engine or car?

**My parents don't want me to learn right now because of the cost my insurance isn't that cheap afterall.

Do you use GPS on your car?

Ask your parents if they would rather you learned to drive on your own after you have moved out of the house or under their roof & supervision?
I think that drivers are better off if they learn under the parents supervisioin.
You may have to give up an activity or 2 to be alble to get to drivers ed, but it is definately worth it.

well over here in england if you get insurance under your parents name its cheaper...i started driving at 17 then i just drove with my dad in the passenger seat saved money on lessons just stuck the "L" plate on the car and job done! start as soon as you can i reckon once you pass no looking back freedom is at your door lol .good luck ;o)

I was 15 but couldn't drive at night till I was 16. I also did go through a drivers education class that taught just about everything except on the road with snow (since it didn't snow at that time). Most insurance companies have good student discounts and also multi driver or multi car discounts. Check out the different places out there. Progressive is really good.
